Think you have what it takes to play roller derby? TCRG recruitment is open year-round! Join us and be a part of this challenging, empowering, and revolutionary sport. We have teams ranging from recreational to internationally competitive, so you’re sure to find the right fit for your level of skill and commitment.

Are you 19 or older, have BC Medical coverage, and identify as female or gender expansive? Then come join us on the track!

If you are new to skating, or have only minimal experience, our Mix Tapes program will help you take your skills to the next level; check out Learn to Skate for more info! If you are an experienced roller derby player, we have a place for you too! Contact-ready transfers are accepted to the house team, and can try out for the travel team.

For more information, or to sign up to play with us, e-mail !

Are you intrigued by roller derby but have never had wheels on your feet? Or maybe contact sports aren’t your thing, but you’d love to strap on a pair of “old-school” skates and learn some moves? Looking to improve your skills in order to be drafted to a team, or just looking for some low-key scrimmaging? We’ve got just the program for you!

The Mix Tapes program is open to individuals of all skill levels, regardless of past experience with roller skating, roller derby, or athletics. This group is a welcoming space to learn, improve and – of course – have fun. The Mix Tapes team can take you from whatever skating level you are at, to whatever level you aspire to! This program will improve your balance, footwork, fitness and agility, and show you a good time doing it. And, when you’re ready, you can participate in full-contact scrimmages, or be drafted to a TCRG team if you want to Play With Us!

Terminal City has teamed up with Rolla Skate Club to offer new skater training as of November 2018. Come roll with us!

The TCRG Authority Figures are our team of officials – a game of roller derby literally could not go on without them. Non-skating officials (NSOs) keep tabs on the stats of the game, including everything from points to penalties, and referees call us on penalties and keep us safe during game play. Officiating derby is a rewarding task, and our fantastic crew of Authority Figures can teach you everything you need to know as a beginner ref or NSO.

If you’re interested in being an integral part of the game, e-mail af!

TCRG could not exist without the help of its amazing volunteers! It takes a lot of work to put on our events, and the help of volunteers is indispensable in making sure everything runs smoothly. We have a wide variety of positions available, from front of house to beer garden staff, announcers to first aid. Our volunteers get free admission to the event, as well as our undying love and immense gratitude.

Contact us at to get involved, or check out the Volunteer Crew Facebook page for more details!

Roller derby is an amazing sport, and when captured on film and in still photos, the raw passion, aggression, and determination of our athletes is palpable. TCRG is always open to new photographers who aspire to capture the beautiful and brutal moments of derby through their lens.
